Software Acumen ServicesSoftware Acumen are specialists in Software Product Lines. We are a small company that provides a personal service to client organisations. We would typically begin working with your organisation by delivering our Product Line Potential Assessment to identify whether your organisation could actually benefit from Software Product Lines. If you could benefit, we would typically continue to work with you to refine your Product Line business case, to support your product portfolio analysis (scoping), to assist in your architecture definition and to help with requirements management. These services would be provided as tailored consultancy days. We can also provide tailored training courses to help you spread the word about Software Product Lines throughout your organisation. Lead Consultant - Mark Dalgarno Mark's software industry experience spans over twenty years, primarily in software product development and software management. Mark is a Member of the British Computer Society (BCS), a Chartered Engineer (IEE), and of ACCU and is also an active participant in the BCS Software Practice Advancement group. Mark regularly speaks at software events and was on the programme review panel for SPA 2007. Since March 2006, Mark has been the editor of the Code Generation Network. In this capacity Mark is also the organiser of Code Generation 2007 - a specialist event on code generation, model-driven development, domain-specific languages and software product lines. In his spare time Mark co-organises software talks in Cambridge and blogs for Software Acumen at The Variation Point, where he writes (mainly) about software. Contact Software Acumen for further information or to discuss your organisation's specific needs. Read about pure::variants, a tool for developing Software Product Lines. |
