Training Course Terms and Conditions

What's included in the course fee?

• Participation in the course for one named person.
• Buffet lunch on each day of course.
• Tea / Coffee on arrival and at scheduled breaks.
• Training materials

What's not included?

Anything not listed above! Specifically - note that you are responsible for arranging and paying for your own accommodation and travel for participating in the course.

Where a course requires use of a laptop this will be noted and you are responsible for supplying your own laptop that meets the required specification. In some cases we will be able to provide this at extra charge provided you notify us at least two weeks in advance of the course.

Making a Booking

By placing a booking the participant agrees to abide by all terms and conditions listed here.

Places on all of our courses are limited. Bookings will be processed in the order that they are received. A booking has not been accepted until we send a confirmation.

Participants booking at a discounted rate may be contacted to confirm their eligibility for a discount.

Full payment must be received at the time of booking.

Note that regardless of participant’s country of origin the point of supply for all courses is the UK and so we are obliged to charge VAT on all course fees.

Cancellations and Refunds

In the event of cancellation by the participant, a partial refund may be made solely at the discretion of Software Acumen. No refund will be given if the participant has not informed us of the cancellation.

If a participant is unable to attend, a qualified substitute may participate in their place providing we are notified in writing in advance of the course start date.

Alterations to the course

We reserve the right to alter the course content, instructors, timing, venue or date without notice and to cancel the course.

In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled a full refund of participants' course fee will be given. Software Acumen will not be liable for any other costs or consequential damages even if we have been advised of them.

We do try and give participants as much notice as possible of changes to the course. If we do have to change the venue and the participant can no longer attend the course at the new location we will refund the full course fee. However, Software Acumen will not be liable for any other costs or consequential damages even if we have been advised of them.

Data Policy

We need to hold information you provide on computer databases for administrative purposes. Information about participants will be made available to trainers.

You may contact us to request that your data is not used for direct marketing purposes by us.
